Interleague Program
(Competition Level: Low/Medium)
The goal of the interleague program is to provide a place for the intramural player who loves the game but does not want to make the commitment to competitive and costly travel soccer programs. When travel teams are formed after our in house intramural program ends at U9, many time we don’t have enough players remaining in a particular age division to provide enough competition with an in house program. As a result, we participate in Suffolk Soccer Interleague (provide link to SSI) which is a program so children might be able to continue to participate in playing the game of soccer. Suffolk Soccer Interleague is simply an extension of the clubs intramural program. Referees are provided each week and player format, games times, and roster size vary according to age group. Minor travel is required as you will be playing some away games in nearby towns against neighboring soccer clubs. Games are played on Sundays. Teams will remain together from year to year as long as they have enough players to roster.
