Summer Select Soccer is for families that are looking for a Summer bridge program from the end of the Spring season in June to the start of the Fall season in August. Summer Select Soccer practices and games are run by professional trainers. Summer Select Soccer runs from the middle of June to the end of July. It includes eight practices and participation in the Seaside Classic Tournament in Rhode Island.
Ages
The Seaside Classic Tournament is using the following birth years for the tournament.
- U8 Age Group – Girls and Boys born in 2018.
- U9 Age Group – Girls and Boys born in 2017.
- U10 Age Group – Girls and Boys born in 2016.
- U11 Age Group – Girls and Boys born in 2015.
- U12 Age Group – Girls and Boys born in 2014.
- U13 Age Group – Girls and Boys born in 2013.
- U14 Age Group – Girls and Boys born in 2012.
- U15 Age Group – Girls and Boys born in 2011.
- U16 Age Group – Girls and Boys born in 2010.
- U17 Age Group – Girls and Boys born in 2009.
***Some age groups may be combined depending on the number of players.***
Training Days
Practices are held at Sachem Soccer Park, 1111 Waverly Avenue, Holtsville, NY.
Players need a ball, water bottle, shin guards, and should have cleats for all training days and games.
Tournament
Seaside Classic Tournament in Rhode Island on July 10-12, 2026.
Uniforms
Summer Select Uniforms are included in the cost of registration.
Important Evaluation and Registration Dates
Sachem players will be evaluated by Trainers during practices in the month of March. Sachem players must register by April 1 to determine any openings on Teams.
Tryouts for guest players will be held the first week of April dependent on openings. Guest players must register by April 15.
All players will be required to provide uniform sizes and book hotels by April 30.
Cost
$350 before April 1 for Sachem players.
$400 after April 1 for Sachem players and guest players.
Registration closes April 15.
Late Registrations will need to contact the Travel Trustee on availability of roster openings.
