Sachem Youth Soccer League Scholarships
Sachem Youth Soccer League has established a scholarship fund for graduating seniors who have participated in our programs for at least five (5) seasons. You must be eligible for high school graduation and attending a university, college, or trade school after graduation. Serious consideration is given to the well rounded candidate who has participated in extracurricular activities and and community service.
If you wish to be considered for an SYSL Scholarship, read the eligibility requirements and complete the application in its entirety. It is the responsibility of the applicant to forward all necessary materials to the Scholarship Committee. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for a Sachem Youth Soccer League Scholarship, an applicant must satisfy ALL of the following requirements:
- Must be a graduating high school senior the year of the application.
- Plan on attending a university, college, or trade school following graduation.
- Participated in Sachem Youth Soccer League for at least FIVE seasons. Participation need not have been in successive seasons.
- Performed volunteer work or community service.
- Involved in extracurricular school activities.
Applications
Please complete ALL parts of the scholarship application including:
- First page with Applicant Information.
- Second page with Soccer Background.
- Third page with School Resume.
- Copy of current transcript.
- Two letters of recommendation. One letter needs to be from a soccer coach and another letter from a person who knows you well (Teacher, school administrator, employer, religious leader, etc.).

Notification
