Volunteer of the Year Award
At the 2018 Long Island Junior Soccer League annual convention we are happy to announce that one of our own has been named as a Volunteer of the Year! Please join us in congratulating Jeff Nagel on this achievement.
Jeff started out with Sachem Youth Soccer League in 2011 when he began coaching his daughter’s U5 team. After spending many hours on the fields volunteering, he was approached to consider joining the Board of Directors. He joined the Board of Directors as Registrar in 2013 and continues to serve in this capacity as well as his coaching roles. In addition to his duties as a coach and Director, Jeff has filled in for Sachem in whatever role he was needed in at the time including webmaster, marketing, field lining, assisting in running tournaments, scheduling, and most recently launching the club’s spirit wear apparel line.
On behalf of Sachem Youth Soccer League we thank and congratulate Jeff on this accomplishment. Without the sacrifices being made by Jeff and many of our volunteers throughout the club we could not operate this program successfully.
